Healthy Eating Teens

Eating healthy should be a huge part of any teen's life. Healthy eating as a teen will provide the foundation for a very healthy adulthood. Getting enough calcium as a teen yields strong bones as an adult. Restricting trans and saturated fats reduces the chance of heart disease and obesity, and cutting down on sugars reduces the chance of contracting diabetes. Eating healthy also improves cognitive function, reduces stress, and improves self-confidence. Eating good foods will provide enough energy to get you through the day.

Eating healthy as a teen is an integral part to a healthy adulthood.
